In Kita-ku, Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture, Sanshin designs and manufactures aluminum dross processing equipment that mainly treats the residue after aluminum refining. The company was founded in 1978 by the father of the current CEO Tatsuaki Sego, who took over from 2020. At the time of its founding, the company was engaged in the maintenance, inspection, and repair of machinery and equipment for the aluminum melting industry. However, against the backdrop of the needs of the times, Sanshin independently developed a “high-speed dross treatment system” that enables the recovery of aluminum at a high rate from the residue (dross) generated in the melting process, and has focused on its manufacturing and sales ever since. At present, the company has been supported by major domestic companies in the aluminum melting industry as well as overseas customers.
Our system is a combination of aluminum dross processing equipment with the company’s main product, the patented high-speed dross treatment system, at the forefront of the system. In addition to the aluminum recovery rate and processing time, the design takes into account the prevention of dust scattering and the safety of workers, and boasts a high market share in Japan, unrivaled by other companies. In 2012, the company obtained a ISO9001 certification, and despite having a small number of elite employees, it has been making efforts to maintain world-class quality.
Our customers range from small to large scale enterprises that manufacture aluminum-related products. In particular, we first received the inquiry from Nikkei MC Aluminum Co., Ltd., 30 years ago which led to the design and manufacture of aluminum dross processing equipment, and we have maintained a good and close business relationship ever since.
